This juice is my favorite because it can also easily turn into a delicious smoothie, and if you've got leftovers (which usually there arent) you can also freeze it to make the yummiest "nice cream"!
"Sweet Beet" Juice Recipe
- 3 organic Fuji apples
{Did you know Apples are #1 on the dirty dozen list? They have the highest amount of pesticides. Always always always buy apples ORGANIC to protect yourself and your family from harmful toxins! If you can, buying local is best!}
-1/2 of 1 lemon
- 4 stalks organic celery
{Celery is #2}
-1 large navel orange
-1 beet
- 2 large carrots
We love to juice at our house. It's another easy, tasty way to change things up and ensure we- especially the kids- get all of our servings of fruit and veggies during the day!
Besides all the phytonutrients, it tasting great, being fresh, and boosting mood and energy; the other benefit of juicing yourself is that you know exactly what is going in to it!
No processed sugars, no added preservatives or harmful hormone-disrupting artificial coloring- just God's goodness straight into your tummy 😋
Sometimes I like to pour this juice into a blender and add some frozen fruit and turn it into a smoothie! Ooooh snap, it's like having a Jamba Juice in my own home!
I like to add a cup and a half of Costco's Organic Frozen Mixed Fruit Medley {mango, pineapple, peaches and strawberries}.
Hope you love it!
Happy Valentines Day!!
My eternal love and gratitude,
Carmina
P.s. If you make this I will also save you the horror and panic and Google trip when you take your next dump... remember: "Its just the beets!!! 🤣"
