The other day we went out adventuring with the Klug Family! It is always so fun to be with them, but on this day we went out past Gunlock and happened upon a magical place that Brittiany dubbed, "Crawdad Corner".
It is a lovely little spot complete with a shady, flat area, perfect for "camp", and a little stream running along the way, complete with little waterfalls, a bridge, and a swing.. oh, and don't forget all the crawdads!
It made me a little sad. Grant was thrown off because of the color of the water, the mud, dirt, crawdads.. and just about the whole thing. I was sad because I realized that living in the city the past three years had really taken its toll on my kids and their taste for the outdoors. Grant stepped in a mudpie and absolutely lost it- I'm glad Britt caught this picture!
