This 4th of July was a lot of fun!
Homemade T's. Waffles + my super secret strawberry sauce. Independence Day Parade. Gratitude. Sweltering heat. Melting. Long naps. Swimming. Laughing. Cooking. Eating. Games. Fireworks. Sparklers. and Patriotism. We had a wonderful Fourth of July!
Ironically, the photographer isn't too great on the other side of the camera. Grant didn't want to take pictures and Grace always makes crazy faces!
On Saturday, I made our T shirts. It was pretty funny because Grant thought we had whales on our shirts. It was a perfect opportunity to teach him the word "America".
All day long he walked around pointing to his shirt saying "Americaa" in his cute little voice.
This was Grant + Grace's first ever experience with a parade. Grant loved seeing all of the "race cars", which was actually a Corvette Club or something like that- who knew! He also liked seeing the horses, and really appreciated everyone throwing candy on the floor.
