All dressed up in his cute little uniform and his "soccer legs" (shin guards lol), he ran out onto the field to start the game.
Jaron had THE BIGGEST smile on his face- a bigger smile than even when Grant was born.
His joy was beaming from his face and he said,
"AH LOOK! THAT'S JUST A LITTLE MIXTURE OF YOU
AND ME RUNNING AROUND OUT THERE!"
And this is where I say my mama heart melted into a puddle - for my lack of creative energy right now lol.
Watching Grant this season has been so funny- he's the youngest one out there, so he'll run with the pack for a little while but not long after we'll lose him to spinning in circles while he looks up at the sky lol. OR... just straight running in circles by himself.
He tries to talk to the other kids, and once he even recruited another boy on the other team so they both were running around in circles- no where near the ball! lol
Grace is dying to play too, and tries to at every game. Next year, Goose!
He looks forward to his soccer games every week, and pretty soon here we'll have to find another fun thing for him to do. But for now- we'll keep watching him as he runs with his tongue sticking out and turns back to make sure we're applauding him every few minutes.
He's a little Tinkerbell just like me- you know, we die without applause. ;)
